APPLICATIONS SYSTEMS ANALYST (TWO POSITIONS) The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, a leading academic health sciences center located on the Texas Gulf Coast, is searching for highly-motivated and enthusiastic candidates for several Applications Systems Analyst positions in our Information Services department. The Applications Systems Analyst will create and maintain web sites for departments across the university. In addition to coding, this individual will determine user requirements, work with customers to establish timelines, communicate project status and oversee user testing. Excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to set priorities, work effectively as a team member and partner with customers are needed. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and one year relevant work experience. Three years experience developing web sites using HTML, JavaScript and CSS are preferred, as well as basic ASP code debugging skills and exposure to Adobe Flash.
