Associate Vice-President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer provides leadership in planning, implementing, coordinating, operating and securing the use of information resources and other technologies to support the academic and administrative goals of the university. Provides leadership for expanding the use of technology to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of student learning and administraive operations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in educational technology, computer science, media or related field and five (5) years supervisory leadership experience in information technology. Knowledge of distance education technologies and database management. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in educational technology or related field and documented success in utilization of technology to enhance student learning and administrative operations in higher education. Experience with Banner student information systems is a plus.
