NYU Stern has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Educational Technology to lead their Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL).  The incumbent is responsible for working with the CIO and CITL advisory committee on strategic planning for the Center and directs strategy implementation. 

Responsibilities:

*  Provide strategic leadership and direction with regard to learning technologies
*  Oversee the identification, creation, and implementation of educational technology initiatives for the delivery of business education, including the adoption of new technologies. 
*  Continuously research and improve delivery methods and operations with the assistance of faculty and team members.
*  Maintain an understanding of emerging trends in the use of instructional technologies.
*  Collaborate with faculty, faculty development specialists, Information Technology, and the heads of academic programs to integrate best pedagogical practices with appropriate use of educational technology.
*  Work with the different communities to ensure effective implementation of learning technologies for students.

Requirements include:

*  Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree strongly preferred)
*  At least 5 years of relevant work experience (higher education strongly preferred); proven ability to lead a professional program involving educational technology initiatives. 
*  Experience working with faculty and technical professionals
*  Experience teaching and/or training
*  Knowledge of both educational technology and pedagogy.
