Description:

Keene State College needs a dynamic and visionary Director of Online Communications to help us move forward, addressing our communication needs through emerging technologies. The Director of Online Communications reports directly to the Vice President of Advancement and will inherit a skilled, experienced team with diverse talents and backgrounds, committed to collaboration in problem-solving and training. Furthermore, they are excited by advances in technology, design and best practices, and dedicated to delivering effective interactive communications to best serve the needs of the college community.

The Director of Online Communications:
• Provides leadership, management and supervision for the Online Communications Office.
• Develops and implements a plan to support effective college communications, including the cultivation of friends and alumni and fundraising.
• Serves as the chief advocate for emerging technologies including the overarching campus web sphere development and presence.
• Will be an innovator, problem solver and collaborator with the Information Technology Group, the campus community and external technical consultants to fulfill key goals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of progressive information technology experience (or combination of education and experience equal to ten years). The successful candidate will possess excellent written, interpersonal, supervisory, and collaborative skills as well as demonstrated success in technical project management.

Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus.

Starting salary range: $61,410-$78,170; starting salary normally not to exceed $69,790, complemented by a generous benefit package.
