Description:

 

This position serves as the Directory of Systems and Security for the Information Technology Division. Responsibilities include:
·         Operation of the University Computer Center, campus IT security, coordination and the overall management of all IT Projects within the Information Technology Division. 
·         Management and coordination for the UTC campus support for UT System ISO Security initiatives.
·         Coordination and scheduling of UT System and UTC ITD collaborative projects.
·         Serves as the primary UTC contact for the UT Associate CIO for Statewide Services from the UT OIT and the on campus UT System ISO respresentative. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business related area. 
·         Minimum of ten years management experience with progressive responsibilities in computing and networking spanning a variety of activities, including support for systems administration of systems supporting applications utilized in enterprise level organizations.
·         Minimum of five years experience with supervision and /or consulting in the area of information technology support, demonstrated success in providing excellent customer services. 
·         Minimum of five years experience in the use project management skills to manage multiple projects to completion on time and on budget. 
·         Excellent understanding of national standards in IT security to include security assessment and implementation of plans and procedures to resolve security issues. 
·         Experience in Systems and Networking Engineering and security architect design.
