Description:

Full-time regular position in the Division of Finance and Administration (distributed technology support role).

Position Purpose: Install packaged solutions, developed scripts or reports from installed packaged solutions and complete systems integration among installed packages in conjunction with the University Technology Services (central IT) department. Provide technical solutions to meet the changing and expanding needs of the division and capabilities of Banner and other computer databases. Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs through the division and integrate same with other units on campus. Formulate systems to support the business and operations strategies.

Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems to include accounting and/or accounting information systems or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum of three years of experience administering supported software applications including installation, support and troubleshooting. Experience in leading and managing teams to successfully complete the projects. Three to five years of solid Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Oracle database experience. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Preferred Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and/or Accounting or Finance. Training or certification in Oracle; Experience with Banner. Experience with Financial and Human Resource systems.
