 The Instructional Designer is responsible for analyzing the needs and goals of learners, the delivery of activities and materials to create an interactive learning experience. Not only does the Instructional Designer work with academic leadership and subject matter experts as it pertains to curriculum and course development, resources, technology, training needs and timelines, but this individual also teaches 12 credit hours per academic year.
 
The qualified individual to take on this role will have a Masters degree in Business, Technology, Health or General Education.In addition, this individual will have two years relevant experience working in instructional design, interactive media or a related field with a solid understanding of learning theories and learner-centered activities. Previous experience teaching in higher education, preferably in both online and in-seat learning environments will prove beneficial.
