Description:

Central Michigan University's College of Extended Learning, Distance/Distributed Learning unit seeks a qualified INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER to identify, recruit, train and assist faculty in the development of coursework for online delivery.

Required: Masters degree in instructional design and/or development, or related Masters with emphasis on instructional design/development or educational/instructional technology; 3 years related experience, at least one of which was with a college, university or corporate university operation; ability to manage and participate in multiple projects; effective oral and written communication skills; and the ability to work with faculty and staff as part of an interdisciplinary team. Desired: Ph.D. or Ed.D. in instructional design and/or development, or related doctorate with emphasis on instructional design/development or educational/instructional technology; experience with web development and multimedia development software; university level teaching experience; experience training faculty/staff to integrate instructional technologies into the teaching/learning process.
