Instructional Designer & Technologist

Virginia Western Community College, located in the Roanoke, VA is accepting applications for a twelve-month professional administrative faculty position, as Instructional Designer & Technologist. Serves as a consultant to divisions and faculty regarding the integration of technology into curricula; the development and implementation of enhanced instruction, and the effective and efficient design of courses associated with the application of various technologies to teaching and learning. Must have a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology or related field. Experience working as an instructional designer or technologist, preferably in higher education in a community college setting. Extensive knowledge of computer and online technologies, multimedia techniques and tools, and educational software applications.
