Senior Banner Application Analyst - Information Technology Technical Associate: SIUE requires an experienced Senior Application Analyst/Programmer with four or five years of in-depth technical experience with Banner ERP modules: student, web registration, financial aid, CAPP, accounts receivables etc. Individual must be highly proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, various Banner modules, scripts, procedures, triggers, and programs in a Unix/Linux operating environment. He (she) will lead small to medium programming projects from project concept, planning, design, coding, testing and implementation. He/she will supervise less experienced technical team members on a project by project basis. Requires a degree in Computer Science or a related field, 4 or 5 years of significant experience with Banner releases 6 and 7 as well as excellent project planning, design, coding, testing and communication skills. Experienced Unix/Linux Server Systems Programmer - Information Technology Technical Associate: Requires working knowledge of 'C', Java, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, PHP, Appache, CGI programming, shell scripting as well as a detailed working knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems software and utilities. Any Windows experience is a plus. Detailed working knowledge of backup software. Legato is a plus. Requires a Bachelor in Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years experience building, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting Unix/Linux operating systems, utilities and hardware or an associates degree and 4 years experience in the above environment. Entry Level Unix/Linux Server Systems Programmer - Information Technology Technical Associate: Working knowledge of 'C', Java, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, CGI programming, shell scripting, Unix and Linux computer operating systems, security and related utilities, TCP/IP, backup utilities. Windows operating systems is a plus. Requires a Bachelors of Computer Science or related field or an Associates Degree in Computer Science and at least 12 months experience maintaining, upgrading and supporting Unix and Linux operating systems. Application Development Computer Programmer - Information Technology Technical Associate: Position requires either a degree in Computer Science or related field or an Associates Degree in Applied Data Processing and at least 2 years of actual programming experience. Individual must have experience designing, writing, debugging and testing programs or small applications in an SQL, PL/SQL Oracle database environment. Individual must have actual experience with Oracle development tools such as PL/SQL, Developer 2000, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Toad as well as experience programming in an Oracle Database environment. Prefer candidates with SCT Banner ERP software experience. These positions are for those unique experienced individuals who can make an immediate, significant contribution to our environment.
