Software Implementation Consultant (Applications Development & Support I) The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Health Care Information Systems department, has positions available to provide application support and training for clinical application software. Hiring for all days/all shifts. Duties include assisting physicians and nurses in the use of clinical software; acting as a liaison between the customer and second-tier technical support; customizing clinical software; and providing group training. Work will be performed in a classroom or clinical setting (Operating Room, patient bedside, critical care unit). Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's in Computer Science or MIS and experience (typically 1-3 years) in applications development/support, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills are also required.
