Design, code, document, test and implement new computer applications and prepare detailed programming specifications. Maintain existing computer programs, applications and program documentation. Investigate system problems and implement effective solutions. Provide technical assistance to the campus community and manage requests for data and general information. Required Qualifications: 18 months of education or training beyond high school and two years experience in programming and application development; familiarity with several programming languages, highly-developed computer skills, including hardware, software database and web browser capabilities. Strong problem solving, communication and technical writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor’s degree, experience with relational database technology in a client/server or Web environment, proficiency with SQL and PeopleSoft Enterprise tools, functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, strong customer service focus, experience testing and debugging programs and interfaces, ability multitask and learn quickly.
