East Central College, located in Union, MO, is seeking a Technology Design Specialist in the Instructional Design area to assist faculty in course design and technical support; work with streaming video courses; assist with course implementation and specialized computer programming related to the learning management system; assist the Allied Health department in technical support of simulations. This position will assist the Instructional Designer in all aspects of learning management system support. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Educational Technology, or related field plus one year related work experience required; Master’s degree preferred. Directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Must have knowledge of relevant computer hardware, software and applications and experience in developing multimedia and web-based curricula. PHP and MySQL programming/database experience required.
