Saint Xavier University invites the application of qualified individuals for the position of Vice President for Information Resources and Technologies.
 
The Vice President for Information Resources will lead the operation of a unit that includes instructional technology, information technology and media services.   The position also oversees the University’s technology infrastructure, enterprise systems and user support services. The Vice President reports to the President, is a member of the President’s cabinet, and advises on all policy and investment decisions related to technology. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leadership in higher education information technology. Strong candidates will possess excellent communications skills and experience managing staff in a collaborative environment. Candidates should be familiar with successful practices in planning, developing and deploying technology in support of hybrid and on-line learning. 
 
Required Qualifications: Masters degree in related field. Minimum five years of experience leading an entire IT organization or a significantly sized department within a large IT organization in higher education. Strong candidates will possess excellent communications skills including the ability to explain complex technology issues in a clear, concise manner as well as  experience managing staff and external relationships in a collaborative environment.
