Summary

Designs, develops, implements, and supports web applications that interface with core systems and databases. Works closely with the Web Manager to ensure website functionality meets the needs of the institution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Design, build and maintain web applications and interfaces as determined by the evolving needs of the University.

Manage Internet and Intranet-facing SQL databases.

Maintain existing code and integrate new code into the web environment.

Participate in setting and implementing security policies.

Manage dynamic web content.

Research web tools and applications and make recommendations for the adoption and integration of new technologies.

Interface with outside entities providing web development services and assure deliverables meet University technical requirements.

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required.

Three years of experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, SQL and XML required.
