Abstract:

The presentation discusses the digital divide and ADEC's vision to reach underserved communities (particularly HBCUs, TCUs, and HSIs). Project goals include: exploring and evaluating hybrid networks, satellite technology, wireless solutions, and the deployment of research and education applications. The presentation also includes information on the ADEC network, equipment configuration, core institutions, and their cooperation with EPSCoR and eArmyU.
