WIPO Copyright Treaty - 9 Resources

The Copyright Treaty governs the protection of literary and artistic works; its scope is the same as that of Article 2 of the Berne Convention, to which the Copyright Treaty refers. In a declaratory manner, Article 4 and 5 of the Copyright Treaty explicitly confirm that - as already established under the Berne Convention - copyright protection extends to computer programs and databases.
