Abstract:PSU implemented a payment processing infrastructure that provides a single, central, e-commerce capability and assures the highest level of security, availability, accountability, control, and integrity for our e-commerce applications. The presentation will provide an overview of electronic credit card payment processing concepts, PSU's architecture, experiences, partners, and the internal resources involved with developing the infrastructure. We will explore the process and challenges faced by the PSU Credit Card Processing "Request for Proposal" committee in their search for a partner for processing credit card transactions.
