Abstract:Dozens of commercial services offer legal access to music and movies online. Several prominent campuses have contracted with vendors to provide such services to students, and more are in negotiations. These arrangements often feature novel technologies and business models that point to a rich future for online media and interesting challenges for higher education. This panel will compare and contrast the features of some of these new campus projects.
