Abstract:Western Michigan University is meeting the challenge of implementing an electronic communication system rollout; replacing an old student information system; starting a Sun Center of Excellence for wireless mobility; and issuing new picture ID cards. With the help of directory services and identity management, user provisioning and application access will enable successful integration once cultural change occurs within the community.
