Abstract:

This session will explore the challenges IT faces to stay ahead of technology to support the changing methodology of instructional delivery. Are brick-and-mortar institutions winning or losing students to cyberspace universities? What delivery method of instruction are students seeking? Can long-time faculty embrace and learn advanced technology? What is the hybrid distance learning model, and can it work for higher education? What's on the horizon for new delivery methods? Can higher ed afford to ignore the trend? How can we structure the environment to fully utilize technology in the educational process?
