Abstract:The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) provided certain protections to universities in their role as ISPs, but along with it came several new responsibilities. This paper will discuss Virginia Commonwealth University's approach to working collaboratively with other Virginia higher education institutions and an online DMCA notification tracking process to manage the multitude of allegations.
