Abstract:While the fate of Napster may still be in question, there is no doubt about the burgeoning bandwidth demands on our connections to the Internet. In this presentation, we will look at two proactive solutions to this problem. At Assumption College, the focus is on Quality of Service policy and defining priorities. Bucknell University is looking at ways to bypass the Internet altogether by moving content into the campus network.
