Abstract:Beneath a tree, a student manipulates a 400-year-old manuscript, texts paleographic issues to classmates using her phone, and asks the professor questions via instant messaging (IM). The campus is a classroom. This session will explore the design and role of learning spaces--from labs to classrooms--when technology intersects both space and student life.
