Abstract:A good-looking set of Web page prototypes was only the beginning of the University of Washington's travel administration Web application. The majority of the project work consisted of defining the missing pieces, building the computing infrastructure, and implementing the "moving parts" of the application. The result is a streamlined Web-based process for travel requests, approval, booking, review, and reimbursement.
