Abstract:Last year, Penn State University won top honors in the NACUBO/USX Cost Reducion Incentive Awards program for their electronic approval sysem, called EASY. EASY allows documents to be electronically generated, approved, and updated in the University's central database. The system heralds a new paradigm for conducting campus business that is faster, cheaper, more accurate, and more secure that paper approval.
