Abstract:

Shortages in critical health care professions including nursing, paramedics, and lab techs are being addressed with a unique hybrid online learning program at Community College of Baltimore County. The face-to-face and online program blends hands-on clinical site instruction with online learning. Teaching online bridges geographical boundaries and provides a flexible learning environment to help students balance academics with employment and other responsibilities. Hear CCBC's process (course development, training, marketing, implementation, and measurement of student success) and learn to replicate a hybrid program for your specific critical learning needs.
