While interest in innovative technology-enhanced learning spaces is high, and many institutions either have constructed or plan to construct such spaces, there is a paucity of systematic research examining the effects of these environments. In this presentation, we will describe grant-funded mixed-methods research that investigated whether, how, and to what degree learning was affected in selected classes that took place in innovative technology-enhanced classroom spaces at the University of Minnesota.
