Abstract:Baylor University runs administrative systems supplied by a variety of vendors using different database management systems. Consolidation of certain critical data about person entities in these various systems is required to manage important information resource functions like directories, security, and access entitlements. The Person Database was created to be a central integrated and active repository of essential information on core university constituents. This presentation will describe the Person Database.
