Abstract:Colleges and universities are struggling to deal with the growing demand for commodity Internet bandwidth, particularly the large amount of recreational use required in residence facilities. What is needed is an approach that separates residential use from campus use and involves the residents in the governance of their connection. This presentation will cover the processes, technology, and communication tools employed in making this work for everyone.
