Students majoring in computer science, art, writing, and other creative disciplines worked in small teams to develop a playable game for their final project. Students gained a broad knowledge of gaming along with the practical development skills needed to complete the project through a traditional lecture-discussion course coordinated with a weekly lab. The presenter will share the challenges and best practices identified in creating this interdisciplinary course with a team-based project.
