Abstract:The breakdowns that are common, even inevitable, in technologically assisted learning need not be viewed as embarrassments but instead can be seen as opportunities to flex one's creativity. The author reflects on low-tech teaching possibilities when technological tools fail and stresses the importance of learning exercises that transfer between the physical and virtual worlds.
