Abstract:Computers connected to the campus network that are not managed by the institution pose unique security risks. Automated approaches are necessary to secure privately controlled devices and manage peer-to-peer traffic, especially in residential networks. Other approaches, while less automated and more reactive, can be effective in some cases. This seminar will explore effective practices and solutions for academic settings.
