However, these professionals must receive training in order to keep pace with developing technology and meeting the ever increasing demands of their information systems' end-users. We have been challenged by the resistance of the experienced professional who does not want to adapt to changes; finding the time to train, given the massive demands of our profession; and meeting all of these needs with a limited budget. In this presentation we will explain how we motivated a sometimes reluctant staff, found the time and the resources to create a training program and found creative funding alternatives through college and vendor partnerships. Paper presented at CAUSE94, the full proceedings of which are available through this Library as PUB1094. | | View this resource: | |
