Abstract:This article addresses several of the intellectual property issues that arise when an educational institution provides Internet access to materials that it previously published in another format. Specifically, it focuses on express and implied transfer of copyright, rights of privacy, and rights of publicity when materials are transferred from analog to networked digital media.
