Abstract:

This session will present the sustainability project being conducted by the Electronic Computing Center at the University of So Paulo. This project focuses on reducing and eliminating the solid waste ("informatics residuals") associated with computer and electronic systems such as microcomputers, printers, and cell phones through recycling and/or remanufacturing.
