Abstract:The Medical College of Wisconsin Information Technology Systems (ITS) created a Web-based version of work order form that uses e-mail triggers to keep concerned parties notified as work requests flow through their systems. After recognizing delays inherent in the paper-based workflow, ITS migrated the paper forms to the Web. This paper describes the different phases of the project and the features of the service
