Abstract:UCLA has recently implemented an innovative computing system based on radical post-audit and distributed security concepts. Rather than automating standard manual processes, the University decided to eliminate all pre-approval processes and decentralize access controls. The implementation has resulted in significant cost savings, faster turnarounds, dramatic cultural changes, and improved employee productivity.
