Abstract:It takes more than a positive attitude to tackle the development of thirteen web sites with a minimally trained staff and a deadline of only five months. You have to think outside the box. In response to this challenge, Louisiana State University (LSU) has developed a unique approach to building web sites that blends the experience of the past with the technology of the future. This session describes the challenge, outlines the approach, and measures the success of an initiative that has resulted in the implementation of twenty-eight sites in eight months, far exceeding the original goal.
