Abstract:The TIDE program at The Citadel English department offers discipline-specific technology training. Efforts in many English departments have focused on using technology to teach writing; the TIDE initiative focuses on literature instruction. This presentation will describe the program and highlight strategies used to motivate traditional English professors to embrace appropriate technologies.
