Abstract:The University of Michigan's Information Technology Division established a work group dedicated to process analysis, innovation, redesign, and reengineering throughout the institution. This paper describes this team's methodology and the services they provide to customers. The paper also highlights key aspects that impact the provision of process analysis services to the university committee: building awareness of services, working with consultants, charging for services, partnerships, and flexibility of services.
