Type:Presentations and Seminars
Abstract:Directory services such as LDAP have been in place for years, providing basic phone or e-mail address lookup. However, LDAP directory services can provide an extremely robust environment for deploying more advanced applications. This presentation will highlight how UMBC developed and used an LDAP directory service to provide a bridge between our Business Application Systems and our Blackboard and WebCT course management applications. We will focus on how we did it and what we learned.
