Southeast Regional Conference 2001

Developing the Next Generation of Leaders
June 27–29, 2001
Orlando, Florida

EDUCAUSE invites technologists, managers, and executives from all higher education institutions in the Southeast to the first annual Southeast Regional Conference. The theme for this conference is "Developing the Next Generation of Leaders." Representatives from all institutions in the southeast-public and private, large and small-are invited to attend.

The program will feature the following keynote sessions:

  • Diana Oblinger, senior fellow, EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research
    A Framework for Successful Enterprise-Wide IT Implementations
  • John C. Hitt, president, University of Central Florida
    IT as a Transformative Force: A President's View
  • Challenges and Solutions for CIOs in Higher Education: A Roundtable Discussion

In addition, the first-ever Southeast Regional Conference will offer four preconference seminars for an additional cost. As with all EDUCAUSE conferences, the Southeast Regional Conference will offer outstanding networking opportunities.
