About the Multiyear EDUCAUSE Website Redesign

EDUCAUSE is in the middle of a multiyear website project to enhance your web experience.

In spring 2012, we completed the first phase of the EDUCAUSE website redesign, which focused on content discoverability. Improvements included a simplified information architecture, a faceted search feature, and a fresh, user-friendly design.

In 2013, we will be working on phase two—a rebuild of the EDUCAUSE Drupal framework to update code and improve performance. Because our website is extensive, an update to the content management system core, the community and custom modules, and the integration points with legacy systems and applications will take time. Given the scope of this project, we are planning a phase two release by early 2014.

To improve your experience in the meantime, we will be adding hardware load balancers and additional proxy solutions to help speed performance.

Thank you for your patience. We look forward to providing a website that meets your current and future needs. For more information, please feel free to contact Matthew Milliron, EDUCAUSE chief information officer, at mmilliron@educause.edu.
