This committee advises EDUCAUSE on matters related to the application of information technologies to the enterprise IT areas of the institution. The committee provides advice and direction on topics such as cloud computing, BYOD, mobile technologies, CRM, ERP, community/open source, infrastructure, virtualization, e-business, web development, learning management systems, leadership, staffing strategies, strategic planning, governance and other enterprise areas.

AGEISS takes a leadership/advisory role in current topics and provides input on the latest technologies emerging in the enterprise area. Committee members act as advisory to the Enterprise IT Leadership Conference, and they serve as adjunct readers for enterprise domains of all EDUCAUSE conferences. They contribute to the enterprise areas of the Core Data Services, and are active in presentations and authoring articles.

Members are senior professionals from a variety of campus environments. (12 members, 3-year terms)
