The benefits of cloud computing, such as rapid deployment, flexible scalability, and low initial start-up cost, can be offset by risks related to data location, service levels, and security infrastructure. Join your colleagues to discuss how institutions can enhance the benefits and mitigate the risks through effective contract negotiation and management.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for adding the Cloud Computing Contract Issues discussion session to your Educause agenda. The good folks running the Educause conference asked me to host this session based upon an article on this topic that I recently published in Educause Quarterly. I've posted a link to that article in the Resources section (see tab above) for this session in hopes that it might help generate some lively discussion regarding how institutinos can enhance the benefits and mitigate the risks of Cloud Computing through effective contract negotiation and management. I'll paste the URL here as well for ease of reference:

I look forward to seeing you all on 10/14!
