As consumers, we expect information at our fingertips within seconds, from mobile banking to social media applications. If we do not get quick and easy information, we will almost certainly move to a different provider or use another platform. Higher education must meet these same expectations for students and staff and continuously look for new, innovative, and effective ways to stay in touch with constituents. A mobile student information system that is immediately available not only online but also on mobile devices is essential to delivering updated information, keeping students and staff connected to the institution, and responding to constituent needs.
