Session Type: Track Session
Small and midsized institutions face many of the same security challenges as large institutions but often have fewer dedicated security staff. This session will focus on the resources and services, available through the Higher Education Information Security Council (HEISC) and the REN-ISAC, that have been leveraged to improve institutional security practices in a cost-effective manner and lessons learned that apply to all institutions striving to secure their information resources.
