Domain: Community Update
In 2010, EDUCAUSE, in collaboration with the League for Innovation in the Community College, the International Association for K-12 Online Learning, and the Council for Chief State School Officers, launched Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC), an initiative aimed at dramatically increasing college readiness and completion through the use of innovative learning technologies. From its inception, NGLC has focused on driving innovation through investment capital, evidence building, and community engagement. After one year, what have we learned? What are the critical needs as we move ahead? What is the role of the IT community in the discussion? Join NGLC staff and grantees at this informal update and discussion session to learn more about the program and help shape the agenda moving forward.
