Carnegie Mellon has made key changes to our computer labs in the last five years. Starting with an in-depth look at faculty and student needs in a time of widespread personal computer ownership, we investigated and deployed pilots to support academic software and technology access for students as well as collaborative teaching and learning spaces. Our presentation will highlight our successes, our failures, and the lessons we learned from them.
